History

Fibroc Oy was established by harbor manager and sailor Pekka Väyrynen in 1974. In the beginning all business was related to the fulfilling the needs of ships visiting the Oulu harbor. Later business has been expanded to fulfill needs of other transports and industry needs in the Oulu region. In 1984 Fibroc Oy started as a partner for a Finnish part supplier to develop wire rope products to the feeding machines of  rock drill rigs. Business grew steadily until 2010 when Fibroc Oy moved to current owners. Since then the growth has been exponential.

Now in 2022 Fibroc Oy is one of the leading companies in Finland in its sector. We employ over 30 employees in three different locations: Oulu, Kaarina and Vantaa. Fibroc Oy has lot of international business both in industry and sea traffic sector.
